Making a difference.

In a short three years, the Wanda Joyce Robinson Foundation has directly served more than 300 children and youth and has assisted with training 450 educators statewide and beyond. WJRF maintains programs through the efforts of volunteer board members and community volunteers. The WJRF board is actively seeking sustainable funding through grants and corporate sponsorships. WJRF maintains an annual budget, financial planning, and has a gold seal of transparency with GuideStar.

The vision of the Wanda Joyce Robinson Foundation is to end the cycle of incarceration by providing children and youth of the incarcerated with a path of hope and a dream of a successful future. We are here to provide the tools and support needed for them to break the cycle of generational incarceration. Your contribution plays a huge role in this!

What's the issue?

  1. It’s 145,000 Kentucky children who have experienced trauma, who may not be aware of their purpose… that they are special and that they each have a gift and a talent.
  2. It’s families who become involved with the Cabinet for Families and Children, caregivers that need support and strong generational curses.
  3. It’s students who have a hard time concentrating in school because of their challenges and worries.
  4. It’s kids that lack positive role models and peers.

Even if I’m not part of the hands and feet at this point, I can support the folks that are the hands and feet. It’s great to be a part of something that you know is going to outlive you.

One of our number one things in the jail is rehabilitation. This program is a stepping stone for that and it’s best I’ve seen since I’ve been in law enforcement.
