New Year. Same Goal.
We ended our fifth year as a nonprofit with an impact we are proud of. 2023 was a growth year for us in so many ways. We hit some of our goals and exceeded others. We served hundreds of youth in our community. We partnered with more than 25 local and state organizations. We hired staff! We have a long way to go, but we are heading into a new year with a refined vision and the resources to reach more and do more.
Looking forward… the new year is a time to refocus and set goals. We recently reviewed our mission, vision and core values to make sure we are doing the work to reflect the goals we have in place. The mission of the Wanda Joyce Robinson Foundation is to create and invest in relationships that strengthen the lives of children, youth and families impacted by incarceration. Our leadership team has created our second strategic plan, which was approved by our board in December 2023.
